Technical Information

Dilolo Metal and Resources applies a disciplined technical approach across exploration, resource development, and project advancement. Our technical programmes support resource growth, project optimisation, and development readiness across our copper asset portfolio.

TECHNICAL OVERVIEW

Technical Excellence in Resource Development

Dilolo Metal and Resources maintains a structured technical programme across exploration, geological modelling, metallurgical test work, pit optimisation, and pre-feasibility studies.
Our technical work is focused on improving geological confidence, optimising development pathways, and advancing our flagship Nzilo Copper Project toward long-term production.
The company applies recognised international reporting standards, robust QAQC protocols, and disciplined technical methodologies to support responsible project advancement.

MINERAL RESOURCE STATEMENT

JORC-Compliant Mineral Resource Statement

The Nzilo Copper Project hosts a substantial JORC-compliant mineral resource, reflecting the scale and development potential of the project across multiple mineralised zones.

The latest resource update outlines a total mineral resource of 1.55 billion tonnes at an average grade of 0.48% copper, containing 7.52 million tonnes of copper metal.

RESOURCE CLASSIFICATION

Resource Confidence Distribution

The Nzilo Copper Project mineral resource demonstrates strong confidence levels, supported by extensive drilling, geological interpretation, and structured resource modelling.

This resource confidence profile supports ongoing technical studies and future reserve conversion work.

Exploration Programme

Dilolo Metal and Resources commenced its structured exploration drilling programme in July 2024 to expand the geological database and improve confidence in the resource model.
The programme focuses on systematic drilling, geological mapping, geochemical analysis, and regional target generation.
Exploration activities continue to support both resource expansion and new target identification across the broader licence portfolio.

Key Exploration Statistics

Geology & Mineralisation

The Nzilo Copper Project consists of multiple mineralised zones hosted within favourable stratigraphic units associated with the Central African Copperbelt.

Mineralisation demonstrates strong geological continuity across both the Northeast and Southwest orebodies, with broad mineralised envelopes and open strike extensions.
The project continues to present significant exploration upside, particularly across underexplored northern target zones and deeper extensions.

Metallurgical Studies

Preliminary metallurgical test work indicates that the Nzilo Copper Project comprises both leachable and refractory mineralisation, supporting multiple potential processing pathways.

Current metallurgical workstreams are focused on defining process routes and optimising metal recovery.

Current test work supports the ongoing pre-feasibility study process.

Pre-Feasibility Study Progress

The Nzilo Copper Project is currently progressing through pre-feasibility studies, focused on refining project economics, optimising technical parameters, and defining the preferred development pathway.
This work supports the company’s progression toward development planning and production readiness.

Technical Standards & Compliance

Dilolo Metal and Resources applies recognised technical and reporting standards across all exploration and development activities.

Our technical programmes include:

These standards support data integrity, resource confidence, and responsible project advancement.
